I am Germán Poo-Caamaño. Computer scientist, freelance software developer, and contributor of Free and Open Source Software (FOSS) projects.
I study coordination and communication in software ecosystems, and intellectual property in software engineering. I am mainly focused on FOSS projects, as there is plenty of public information available, and helps the research be reproducible.
I received my PhD degree in Computer Science from University of Victoria, Canada. Previously, I received a MSc degree in Computer Science from University of Concepción, Chile; and a Licenciate degree (BSc) from University of Bío-Bío, Chile.
